The Association for Computing Machinery was founded in 1948. ACM is the world’s largest computing society bringing together educators, researchers, professionals, and students. The official ACM website can be found here:

The UNR chapter of ACM aims to bring together students who share a common interest in computer science. UNR ACM holds monthly meetings to bring everyone together, teach a computer skill, and have pizza. We also hold events such as hackathons and programming competitions to further develop computer science skills and supplement the University education. We also aim to connect students with local businesses to help students get jobs they’re passionate about and help businesses connect with University Computer Science talent.
